3D Viewer (formerly Mixed Reality Viewer and View 3D)[1][2][3] is a 3D computer graphics viewer and augmented reality application that was first included with Windows 10 Creators Update (1703). It supports the .fbx, .3mf, .obj, and .stl formats, among other various formats.[4]

Description

3D viewer was first included with the Windows 10 Creators Update (1703) in April 2017, but is no longer included with Windows 11 by default. However, it can still be downloaded for free from the Microsoft Store.[5][6]

3D Viewer could post files to the Remix 3D website, open them in Paint 3D, or send them to the Print 3D app (formerly 3D Builder) for 3D printing.

3D Viewer is no longer included with the operating system as of Windows 11, but can still be downloaded from the Microsoft Store.
